OpSens’ OTG-M Series fiber optic temperature sensors (OTG-M170, OTG-M220, OTG-M360, OTG-M420, OTG-M600, OTG-MPK5, OTG-MPK8) provide outstanding performance in demanding and microscale environments.
The temperature transduction process of the OTG-M Series sensors uses a well-established technique, which is based on the temperature-dependent bandgap of the GaAs crystal. Thanks to the tiny sensor GaAs crystal that is glued at the tip of the optical fiber, it is suited for tip measurement applications.
The reaction time, material choices, and sensor diameter (OD) are what distinguish each model in the OTG-M series.
The OTG-M Series delivers outstanding repeatability and dependability in the majority of unfavorable situations, such as high levels of EM, MR, RF, and microwave field environments. It is integrated with OpSens SCBG (Semiconductor Bandgap) signal conditioning technology and with the typical advantages of fiber optic.
The OpSens OTG-M Series uses industry-standard optical fiber and is compatible with all OpSens SCBG signal conditioners. This robust and small fiber-optic temperature sensor is available with a variety of optical cables and sheath options, and it may also be adapted for OEM-type or customer-specific applications.
