GaAs-based fiber optic temperature sensor (OTG-M220)

OpSens’ OTG-M Series fiber optic temperature sensors (OTG-M170, OTG-M220, OTG-M360, OTG-M420, OTG-M600, OTG-MPK5, and OTG-MPK8) deliver exceptional performance. The OTG-M Series sensors use a well-established temperature transduction mechanism based on the temperature-dependent bandgap of the GaAs crystal.

Due to the tiny sensing GaAs crystal at the optical fiber's tip, it is excellent for tip measurement applications.

The response time, encapsulating material, and sensor diameter (OD), as stated in the specs section for each sensor, distinguish each model of the OTG-M series from the others.

When combined with OpSens’ SCBG (Semiconductor Bandgap) signal conditioning technology and the benefits of fiber optic, the OTG-M Series provides exceptional reliability and dependability in even the most demanding conditions, including high levels of EM, RF, MR, and microwave field environments.

The OTG-M Series is built with industry-standard optical fiber and works with all OpSens SCBG signal conditioners. By providing a number of optical cables and sheath options, this tiny, sturdy fiber optic temperature sensor may be tailored for use in OEM applications or customer-specific needs.
