Monitor the Acidifying Activity of Lactic Ferments—iCinac Wireless

The iCinac system available from AMS Alliance was originally designed for dairy industries to monitor the acidifying activity of lactic ferments through the continuous observation of pH.

The instrument includes 16 or 32 channels and employs multi-parameter digital probes with ISM® technology, developed by Mettler-Toledo, which enables three measurements to be taken simultaneously on a single channel: temperature, pH, and Redox.

In 2018, AMS Alliance introduced its last innovation, which was the iCinac Wireless version.

This portable solution is extremely convenient and employs the same multi-parameter digital probes to continuously track the change in pH, without the need for using device and cables.

A wireless transmitter fitted in each digital probe relays data to a receiver and a USB key on the user’s PC, with AMS Alliance’s new dedicated, user-friendly analytical software.

Users can increase the probes from one to 16 channels as needed. Additional probes may be implemented. Long-range wireless transmission covers several hundred meters.

Long lasting battery autonomy (up to 30 days).

The system offers the benefit of simultaneous measurement of temperature, pH, and Redox potential of a sample, on a single channel. Data analysis is performed by the software in real time.

The system is available in a customized suitcase, which includes an optional battery charger. The software can be configured on the users own computers.

This low cost, flexible, scalable, modular, and removable solution is easy to deploy and simplifies the measurement.

Developed originally for the dairy industries (cheese, yogurt, specialties, etc.), the system can be adapted for any industry that requires continuous, multi-channel monitoring of pH— pharmaceutical, chemistry, agri-food (beer, spirits, meat, etc.), and cosmetics.

Moreover, it fulfills the specifications of the ISO 26323 standard (Determination of the acidification activity of dairy cultures by continuous pH measurement).
