Overview

The Normal Human Dermal Fibroblasts (NHDF) from MatTek offer a platform that is ideal for studying dermal biology. MatTek’s NHDFs provide quality and convenience for the investigation of ECM production, wound healing, fibrosis, drug screening, and tissue modeling, and are available from neonatal or adult donors of various ethnic backgrounds.

Features

The cryopreserved NHDFs from MatTek are isolated from either adult or neonatal donor tissue (NHDF-CRY-NEO). The fibroblasts are assured to have ≥ 75% viability upon thawing and provide ≥15 population doublings when cultured in compliance with MatTek’s NHDF protocol. Vimentin expression and spindle morphology are two characteristics of NHDFs.
