The renewed Micronic Tube Handler HT500 offers a total capacity of 20 racks and operates at an impressive rate of approximately 400 tubes per hour. Using the supplied handheld 1D barcode reader, users can scan both the 1D rack barcode and its placement on the handling platform, ensuring accurate identification of source and target racks. Additionally, the second-generation unit features an integrated 2D tube code reader that double-checks tube selection during the arraying process, providing full traceability and seamless integration with databases and LIMS systems.
The instrument’s intuitive interface allows users to set quarantine conditions and run parameters tailored to their specific requirements. Additionally, it supports the use of worklist files from a USB thumb drive, further enhancing ease of use.
The Tube Handler HT500 is compatible with Micronic 96-well format racks (ANSI/SLAS standard) and accommodates a wide range of tube volumes - from 0.30ml to 1.40ml - in both internal and external thread formats, whether capped or uncapped. The updated device now features enhanced Y-axis support, delivering greater handling precision and further improving overall efficiency and reliability.
With the second-generation HT500, laboratories can achieve higher throughput, improved data integrity, and enhanced operational safety, all in one compact, high-performance solution.
The Micronic Tube Handler HT500 is available as single unit.
