MedPharm, a global leader in topical and transdermal contract drug development and manufacturing, today announced the appointment of Jason Mieding to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO), a newly created position that reflects the growth of the organization over the past 22 months.
As COO, Jason will serve as site head for MedPharm’s state-of-the-art semisolid manufacturing facility, overseeing operational strategy, execution, and performance while contributing to strategic planning, capital allocation, organizational development, and company culture. He brings extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing and operations, having held positions of increasing responsibility at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Patheon.
