Haier Biomedical – a trusted partner in reliable laboratory equipment – has introduced the LX-155T750R, its latest high-speed, benchtop centrifuge featuring ECO fastBlast pre-cooling technology. This latest addition to the company’s refrigerated centrifuge range offers increased 3 liter capacity for high-throughput workflows, while reducing delays and avoiding unnecessary energy consumption in busy laboratory environments.

Refrigerated centrifuges are essential for protecting temperature-sensitive samples, yet traditional systems can take over 25 minutes to reach the required temperature. This means that centrifuges are often left running continuously throughout the day to avoid delays, increasing energy use and operational costs. Haier Biomedical’s ECO fastBlast technology addresses this long-standing challenge by reducing pre-cooling time to just five minutes, allowing users to power down between runs and rapidly return to temperature when needed.
The LX-155T750R is compatible with a wide range of rotors – including fixed-angle and swing-out options for up to 36 50 ml conical tubes, as well as microplates – and delivers fixed angle rotor speeds of up to 15,500 rpm/26,322xg for demanding molecular biology applications. The system’s integrated Android touchscreen interface – now standard across the Haier Biomedical centrifuge range – offers intuitive operation and allows up to 1,000 custom program to be created, enabling laboratories to consolidate multiple workflows on a single benchtop instrument. Administrator control and end-user lockout functions ensure process security for regulated or GMP environments, and the system can store data for up to 10,000 runs to provide full digital traceability.
Pre-cooling has traditionally been a bottleneck for laboratories using refrigerated centrifuges. With ECO fastBlast technology, we’ve reduced pull-down time to just five minutes, making it more practical for users to switch the unit off between runs, rather than leave it running all day. Combined with the increased capacity offered by the new LX-155T750R, this latest offering is ideally suited to higher throughput workflows, even in highly regulated environments.”
