Lauren Hardaker

Lauren holds a master’s degree in Medical Microbiology from the University of Manchester, where they also worked as a research assistant with the Manchester Fungal Infection Group. Following their passion for science communication, she trained to become a high school science teacher, focusing on curriculum development of disciplinary knowledge. Beyond the classroom and lab, she is an avid runner, regularly participating in organized races worldwide. At weekends, she can usually be found getting coffee and a pup cup at their favorite local spots with her dog.
