5-in-1 Tapped Density Tester: SVM II

The SVM II is ERWEKA's latest generation of tapped density testers, offering unmatched flexibility and intelligent features for effortless and reliable testing.

The 7" high-resolution touch display, featuring a modern user interface, ensures a user-friendly experience by emphasizing the core function of the new SVM II—100% USP/EP-compliant tapped density testing.

Using TestAssist's automatic calculating tools, the user is guided through the testing process step-by-step as fast as possible. After each test, the results are published, and the compressibility index and Hausner Ratio are automatically calculated.

The SVM II is the most versatile tapped density tester ever created and is simple to use. The recently developed SwitchPlate technology makes five variations of the SVM II, with USP 1, USP 2, or USP 3, in one or two test station configurations or a combination of both approaches, possible. They can be upgraded later on as well.

SVM II supports a wide range of methods and norms: With the SVM II, users may be sure that their tapping density tests are legitimate and in compliance with ASTM B527-15, DIN EN ISO 787-11:1995, USP 1 and USP 2, and other standards.

One Device, 5 Variations

The flexibility of the SVM II is the same as its five preceding versions. It can be fitted with one or two test stations of the same technique (USP 1, 2), or both, and it can test for USP methods 1, 2, and 3. USP 3 is compatible with any SwitchPlate and may be mounted on either station. It comes with individual attachment pieces. The consumer has the option to switch between variants in a matter of minutes. The SVM II is the most adaptable tapped density tester.

Intelligent SwitchPlate System

The SVM II has more flexibility than ever using the cutting-edge SwitchPlate mechanism. Switchplates that are available:

  • USP 1 with 1 station
  • USP 1 with 2 stations
  • USP 2 with 1 station
  • USP 2 with 2 stations
  • 2 station combination with USP 1 and USP 2

Modern Touch Interface with TestAssist

The SVM II is controlled by a high-resolution touch screen with the cutting-edge ERWEKA user interface. The user is led through the entire tapped density testing procedure with its ground-breaking TestAssist. The user only needs to read the values from the cylinder and enter them when prompted; the TestAssist will automatically calculate the Tapped Density, Hausner Ratio, and Compressibility Index.

This minimizes mistakes and delivers results as quickly as feasible. SVM II also offers DirectHelp features, which provide assistance and direction whenever needed.

1, 2, Test

The SVM II's touch interface helps the user concentrate on the most crucial task: tapped density testing. The main component is the TestAssist, an intelligent assistant with real-time feasibility checks that offers support and ensures the provided parameters comply with USP/EP/JP. Thus, taped density testing becomes easy and secure. However, every other feature, including the control panel, qualification menu, and service menu, is made to facilitate the fastest possible connection between the user and the hardware.

TestAssist - Tapped Density Testing Easier Than Ever

TestAssist is an intuitive and comprehensive wizard designed for the seamless execution of tapped density testing. It guides the user step by step through parameterization, preventing incorrect entries. Once the test is in progress, the test screen continuously displays essential status information.

When performing tests according to USP methods, TestAssist prompts users to input the required values and then automatically calculates Tapped Density, Hausner Ratio, and Compressibility Index. With its intelligent functionality, TestAssist makes tapped density testing easier and faster than ever before.

Reports

The SVM II TestAssist generates reports after each test. These reports can be automatically printed. The last 10 test reports can be recalled and printed out again.
