Overview

Using the Visikol HISTO tissue clearing approach, tissues can now be efficiently and quickly imaged in 3D without adversely impacting the underlying cellular morphology.

To allow for the continuation of 3D histology with conventional 2D histology, the Visikol HISTO approach has been created to work in conjunction with immunolabeling and is reversible. Visikol HISTO-M, a single reagent, is the basis of the Visikol HISTO tissue-clearing method for 3D tissue cultures.

The Starter Kit includes 30 mL of Visikol HISTO-M along with all four of the buffer solutions needed to prepare 3D tissue cultures for immunolabeling. The user only needs to add their nuclear stains and immunolabels. Three 96-well plates of 3D cell culture models can be processed using the materials included in this kit.
