It is possible to separate individual prokaryotic cells with the help of CYTENA’s validated single-cell dispensing technology. The B.SIGHT’s high-resolution optics make even the least cells visible. No staining or labeling is needed to separate a single bacterium.

Ideal for anaerobic conditions

The benchtop B.SIGHT could function in an anaerobic chamber as a result of its small footprint, low heat emission, and low particle emission. Such characteristics provide the ideal environment for isolating obligate anaerobes. Also, users can control the device from the exterior part of the cabinet by connecting a keyboard, monitor, and mouse, or by making use of a remote control terminal.

Start sorting right away

Separating cells is easy and contamination-free with disposable cartridges. Users can just pipette their sample into the reservoir and fix the cartridge to the B.SIGHT. Microscopic droplets are generated through the bacteria dispensing cartridges to make stable and precise bacteria encapsulation.

Intuitive and easy to use software

Users can make use of the interactive well plate to design their special dispensing experiment and observe in real-time how every bacterium is grouped via the cartridge’s nozzle and dispensed into their 96- or 384-well plate. Images of the dispensed single bacterium have been stored on the hard drive, thereby offering proof of clonality.
