Overview

PhotoHA®-INK (stiff) from Biomatrix is a 5 mL of a 4% solution of methacrylated hyaluronic acid (HAMA) having 0.5% LAP, and develops powerful hydrogels compared to the PhotoHA-INK (soft), which is a GM-HA.

This ink has been pre-formulated and is all set for printing in the BIONOVA X.

Advanced BioMatrix provides PhotoHA®-INK, a methacrylated hyaluronic acid (HAMA) ink along with LAP for bioprinting with the BIONOVA X.

Hyaluronic acid is known to be the most plentiful glycosaminoglycan present in the body while being an essential component of several tissues across the body. While it is plentiful in extracellular matrices, hyaluronic acid also adds up to tissue hydrodynamics, movement, and proliferation of cells, and takes part in various cell surface receptor interactions.

For most of the cell types, it is suggested to add extra ECM proteins to the hyaluronic acid hydrogels. The proteins offer significant cell binding sites.
