Overview
PhotoDextran® from Advanced Matrix is known to be a 1 gm of lyophilized methacrylated dextran. PhotoDextran® offers 3D hydrogels that could be made at multiple concentrations and photocrosslinked (needs a photoinitiator).
This is done to offer several gel stiffnesses. Also, it could be mixed with other photocrosslinkable ECMs.
Advanced BioMatrix provides PhotoDextran®, a methacrylated dextran for photocrosslinkable hydrogels or integrating inside photocrosslinkable hydrogels (like PhotoCol, PhotoGel, or PhotoHA).
PhotoDextran® offers native-like 3D gels with special attributes: It could be made at several concentrations and photocrosslinked in a range of methods to offer a truly tunable gel stiffness. PhotoDextran® could be ordered by itself (1 gm lyophilized sterile powder), or as a kit that is available with a photoinitiator for photocrosslinking.
